Parameters based on chlorophyll a fluorescence are automatically calculated from OJIP curves (Fig. 3). Fv/Fm is maximal quantum yield of photosystem II and is defined by Fv/Fm = (Fm–Fo)/Fm, where Fm is maximal fluorescence, Fo is the minimal fluorescence and Fv is variable fluorescence (Fm−Fo). Vj is the size of wave J in the OJIP curve and Vi is the size of wave I in OJIP curve (Fig. 3.). Fluorescence parameters are given in arbitrary units [a.u.]
