1H–13C HSQC NMR spectrum of control tomato leaves optimized for a short-range JCH coupling of 145 Hz. The labels refer to the assignment of the most intense signals detected in all treatments (F fructose, G glucose, Gal galactose, S sucrose, GABA γ-aminobutyric acid, Leu leucine, Arg arginine, Val valine, and Thre threonine). The ellipsoid regions circumscribe the dense cluster of F (red) or G (green) signals.
