Correlations between slopes of wetting contact angle recovery (° h−1) of 4 monodisperse alcohol ethoxylates and different molecular parameters [degree of ethoxylation (a), molecular weight (b), molecular volume (c) and molecular diameter (d)]. Correlation efficient (r) for the regression lines fitted to the plots were always better than 0.98. Molecular volume (c) and molecular diameter (d) were calculated as described by Abraham and McGowan in 1987 [1]. Data points represent means with standard deviations
